Well, I’m not sure why you are expending to use two different technologies for providing gateway. You can’t start a second instance of API gateway using Spring cloud Gateway?

I followed your other blogs and developed spring boot microservices with spring cloud gateway and consul service discovery. I only have one gateway, but would like to provide redundancy. Could I use envoy proxy for load balancing and providing redundancies for API gateways? Thanks.

Is it possible that I don’t dockerize my microservice and use envoy on local as a front proxy and use it to delegate the traffic to my service which is running locally. Could you please help with the same.
